Democratic Republic of Congo side, AS Vita will be banking on their home ground advantage when they host Ethiopia’s St George on Tuesday in their CAF Champions League match.
Coach Florent Ibenge and his men are under pressure to find their first win in Group C, but will hope to redeem themselves against St George.
The Congolese giants have registered three losses to Mamelodi Sundowns, Esperance and their recent loss to St George.
Their 1-0 loss away in Addis Ababa means they are under enormous pressure to bring smiles back into their camp.
Ibenge’s men sit at the bottom of the group with zero points from three matches in their campaign.
St George will also be a tough nut to crack as they are gunning for a victory to boost their chances of reaching the knockout stages.
The Ethiopians are yet to lose in the group stages as they drew 0-0 against the defending champions Sundowns, drew against Tunisian side Esperance in their second match as well as claiming a win over their hosts on Tuesday.
In Group C, Esperance top the standings with seven points, followed by St George on five points, Mamelodi Sundowns in third with four points and AS Vita in last place with zero points.
The match will be staged at Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte in Kinshasa at 16:00 CAT.
