PUMA has unveiled a new soccer boot to be worn Mamelodi Sundowns duo Themba Zwane and Percy Tau ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Esperance Tunis on Wednesday.
The new boot is known as PUMA ONE and is designed and created in collaboration with French international star Antoine Griezmann, youth academy players and former Les Bleus striker, legend Thierry Henry.
According to a statement released PUMA, the boot delivers on the needs of all players, from ruthless defenders to fleet footed strikers, in one boot focusing on FIT, FAST and FEEL.
Two PUMA-sponsored players from the African Champions’ camp, Zwane and Tau will don the real leather boots in classic white in the coming 2017/18 Premier Soccer League season.
Furthermore, the engineered evoKNIT sock ensures a great FIT and the ultra lightweight Pebax outsole delivers on the need for FAST speeds and a super soft leather adorns the upper to ensure FEEL on the ball.
It is announced that the boot will be available in PUMA Stores and selected retailers nationwide from 29 June 2017.
On the other hand, Zwane and Tau will be hoping to help Pitso Mosimane’s men to overcome Tunisian giants Esperance in the CAF Champions League as they meet on Wednesday in Group C.
