Zimbabwe coach Sunday Chidzambwa wants to reach the final of the upcoming 2017 COSAFA Cup in South Africa.
Speaking to the Zimbabwean media ahead of their trip to the neighbouring country, the Warriors manager says his mission is to reach final.
The tournament is scheduled to start in Rustenburg on Sunday.
Chidzambwa previously led the country to glory in 2009.
Chidzambwa remains confident in the capabilities of the squad he picked for the tournament, where he chose to blend experience with youth.
“As a coach, you always want to get to the final, and for me personally, I would love to get to the final,” the veteran coach said.
“I have gone to the COSAFA finals twice and I just hope and pray that for the third time in a row, I will again get to the final and win the trophy.
“I’m hoping we get past the group stages and get to the knockout stages and the final.”
Zimbabwe will start the competition in the preliminary rounds and are in Group B alongside Mozambique, Madagascar and the Seychelles.
They meet the Mambas on Monday, June 26 at 17:00 (CAT).
