Iwobi Sets Up Lacazette’s First Arsenal Goal In Pre Season Win Over Sydney FC

Arsenal big money buy Alexander Lacazette opened his goal account for Arsenal in their 2-0 win over Sydney FC in the first game of their pre season tour of Australia.

Captain Per Mertescaker opened scoring for the Gunners after just four minutes. The captain scored a spectacular acrobatic opener which brought the stadium to live.

Danny Welbeck failed to double Arsenal advantage in the 56th minute, when his poorly taken penalty kick was saved by the goalkeeper of Sydney FC, as Arsenal went in search of a second goal.

The goal didn’t arrive until big money man Lacazette was introduced for Theo Walcott after 68 minutes and his substitution which was done same time as Iwobi who came on for Coquelin lead to Arsenal’s second goal.

Iwobi raced through on goal from the right before delivering a near perfect cut back which was emphatically dispatched by Lacazette for his first Arsenal goal, but Arsenal’s second of the game which earned them a 2-0 win.
