Tombi A Roko Sidiki, now former President of the Cameroon Football federation, Fecafoot, has said he and his executives will accept Fifa’s decision which dismiss them off their functions t the federation.
It should be recalled that the world football governing body, Fifa, had created a
normalisation committee to run the Cameroon football federation, Fecafoot.
Tombi A Roko said he is grateful for the 23 months spent at fecafooot, while presenting a balance sheet of the Afcon won in Gabon and Cameroon’s women team winning vice champions, as evidence of his hard work.
In the same line, Cameroons Minister for sport and physical education, Bidoung Mpkatt said the government is ready to corporate with Fifa while making sure that the Nations Cup takes place hitch free.
The Minister, explained that the creation of a normalization committee will not in any way the planning, programme and preparation of the organizing committee of AFCON.
