Deadline Friday for media accreditation for 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League Draw in Miami

MIAMI, December 14, 2017 – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) reminds media that the accreditation process for the 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League Draw is open. All media wishing to cover the live event in Miami, FL must apply via the CONCACAF Media CenterThe deadline to apply is Friday, December 15 at 1:00 PM ET. 

The official draw will take place on Monday, December 18, at 7:00 pm ET. The event, conducted live from Univision Studios in Miami, Florida will feature head coaches from participating clubs, including Anthony Hudson (Colorado Rapids), Carlos Restrepo (CD Olimpia), Greg Vanney (Toronto FC), Matias Almeyda (CD Guadalajara) and Miguel Herrera (Club America), as well as former CONCACAF international starts Eddie Johnson and Carlos Pavon, and other celebrity guests from the world of international football.

Media members who are not currently registered in the CONCACAF Media Center, or have not applied for the 2018 edition of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League, will need to submit those applications before applying to the official draw.

Please note that an approval for the CONCACAF Media Center or Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League tournament does not grant access to the draw or a match. A specific approval and media ticket will be required.

Applicants are advised to add to their address book and check junk mail and/or spam folders to assure a response.

As always, NO WALK-UP CREDENTIALS WILL BE ISSUED TO MEDIA AT ANY VENUE. Please do not come to the venue planning to perform a media function without prior confirmation of approval of accreditation application.
