LAUSANNE, April 9, 2018 – The 81st AIPS Congress will be held from May 7 – 10, 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. The Congress will be hosted by AIPS in conjunction with Sportspress Belgium and will cover a wide range of topics relevant to sports journalism and its professionals worldwide.
All AIPS Congress participants are asked to register here. Registration can be completed without the exact flight details. Registration will close on April 16, 2018.
“This Congress will be a fundamental meeting for our organization,” pointed out AIPS President Gianni Merlo. “We have lot of topics of relevance on the agenda such as the AIPS Sport Media Awards and an important forum ‘Sport Journalism: how to stay relevant in the digital age’ where we will have prominent personalities of the sport media industry”.
Among the discussions planned there will also be an update regarding the Petition to European Parliament regarding media rights and access to sources and information on Press Operations for the most important upcoming sporting competitions.
