Will Liverpool make it four wins from four?
Round 4 of the new Premier League season kicks off on Saturday lunchtime at the King Power Stadium.
Former league champions Leicester welcome Jurgen Klopp’s charges.
Leicester come into the game on the back of successive wins against Wolves and Southampton.
However the Foxes will be without star player Jamie Vardy, who is suspended after his red card versus Wolves.
Liverpool set to rotate.
On Tuesday, the Liverpool Echo have begun to assess how the Reds may line up at Leicester.
So far this season, Klopp has kept a pretty regular starting XI.
Summer signing Fabinho, for example, has yet to feature since his switch from Monaco. Similarly, Xherdan Shaqiri has only played eight minutes for the Reds after joining from Stoke.
Of those two players, Shaqiri is being tipped to receive more minutes in the Leicester game. Readers are told:
Xherdan Shaqiri is ready to answer Jurgen Klopp’s call as the Liverpool boss ponders rotating his resources for the first time this season.
Klopp admitted his team “lost the plot” in the second half of the weekend win over Brighton and Hove Albion after suffering from the intensity and a lack of freshness.
If Shaqiri starts, who will make way?
Sadio Mane has arguably been Liverpool’s standout forward this season. Mo Salah has also been amongst the goals. So could Roberto Firmino drop out the XI?
John Aldridge on Jordan Henderson
Also in Tuesday’s Liverpool Echo , John Aldridge has made the case for Jordan Henderson to start against Leicester.
Henderson does an awful lot for the team, and while I cannot knock any of the three who have been playing in midfield this season, James Milner has tired towards the end of the last few games and Naby Keita is still adjusting.
