Essential media information: apply now for your accreditation

BASEL, October 10, 2018 – Media accreditation is open for the Women’s EHF EURO 2018 in France. Written media, photographers and non-rights holders are invited to apply before 26 October 2018.
Applications can be made via the EHF’s dedicated online accreditation system . Email requests will not be processed.

TV, web TV and radio representatives should contact the EHF’s media and marketing partner for the EHF EURO events, Infront, in order to reach an agreement on the relevant rights before applying.

Security screening
Media representatives are advised that all requests for an accreduation approved by the EHF and Infront are subject to a mandatory security check by the police authorities in France.
These checks can take a minimum of 48 hours to complete and ahead of the championship will only be submitted on a weekly basis. This may cause some delays in media representatives receiving confirmations.
IMPORTANT: Last-minute approvals of accreditations during the event in France will not be possible. Media representatives are advised to apply early for an accreditation.
Media Hotels
The Women’s EHF EURO 2018 Organising Committee has negotiated special terms with media hotels in each venue.

Availability is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Criteria for applications
The EHF applies a strict criteria for the issuing of accreditations and will only accept requests from professional media representatives working at the event for a recognised media outlet.
A valid press card or AIPS card will be required. Media representatives, in particular freelancers, may be asked to provide additional evidence of previous work/coverage.

Additional information:
Parking: To be provided at every competition venue, close to the media entrance. Details on how to receive a parking pass will be made available ahead of the event.
Media Shuttle: Available to media representatives booking the media hotel through the EHF EURO 2018 Organising Committee. This will travel from the playing arena to the media hotel.
Catering: A Media Cafe will offer hot and cold meals (salads, sandwiches and hot meals) at each venue. Please note that media representatives will need to purchase all food/drinks at the Media Cafe. Snacks and hot/cold beverages will be provided in the media centre.
Transport: Media representatives are required to provide their own transport to and from airports and between venues.

The EHF EURO Organising Committee will organise transfers between some venues for all teams by plane. If additional seats are available, further information will be provided to media representatives.
