ANTWERP, April 13, 2019 – The Media Accreditation process for the Basketball Champions League 2019 in Antwerp, Belgium, May 3-5 is now open.
Media representatives wishing to apply for credentials may do so exclusively online through the FIBA Media Portal.
A proper and valid, electronic version of a portrait photo (headshot) of the applicant must be uploaded during the procedure. Applications that do not include a proper and valid photo may not be considered.
To be considered for media credentials, an applicant must represent a bona fide media organization that produces and publishes original content. Applications for media credentials by agents, educational booklet authors, fan bloggers, or media that do not produce original content based on generally accepted news gathering criteria will not be considered.
Freelancers (writers, photographers and videographers) will be asked to prove that they are on assignment with a media outlet to be considered for credentials.

During the application you will be able to access information of how to apply for a recommended media accommodation in Antwerp. You will then be redirected to the hotel’s booking page. Please, note that this specific hotel option is offered on a first come first served basis and will be available only until April 19.
The deadline for submitting an application for credentials is April 29, 2019.

About Basketball Champions League Final Four 2019
The Final Four 2019 is hosted by Telenet Giants Antwerp in Antwerp, Belgium. It will take place between May 3-5 in the Sportpaleis arena. On May 3, in the Semi-Finals, Segafredo Virtus Bologna (ITA) match up against Brose Bamberg (GER) while hosts Telenet Giants Antwerp (BEL) take on Iberostar Tenerife (ESP). The Game for 3rd Place and the Final will be played on May 5.
