VANUATU – With the Van2017 Pacific Mini Games 3×3 event just over a month away, the final list of countries participating in the competition have been announced.
The 3×3 event will take place on Monday, December 11th to Thursday, December 14th of this year. There will be two full days (Monday & Tuesday) and two half days (Wednesday & Thursday) of competition.
FIBA in Oceania Development Manager, Annie La Fleur will be on the ground in Vanuatu during the event to assist the Vanuatu basketball Federation and Pacific Games Council run the event.
“I am very excited about the inclusion of 3×3 at the Mini Games and look forward to seeing your teams in Vanuatu,” said La Fleur. “This is another great opportunity for our Oceania federations to participate in an international 3×3 event and I think this will help the development of our 3×3 teams for the future.”
With its inclusion in the 2020 Olympic Games, 3×3 basketball is becoming a worldwide sensation, countries big and small are getting involved in 3×3.

The winner of this event will be crowned the inaugural Pacific Mini Games 3×3 Champion.
